“You good over there, shawty?” Savion asked, gripping my thigh but I smacked his hand away.

“I’m good.”

“You ain’t acting like you good,” he shot back with a chuckle. We were in the car headed back to Atlanta and I was so ready to get away from him. I thought we were all good and possibly working on putting our family back together, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and when I came out, his phone was lighting up with back to back notifications. Being the nosy bitch that I am, I looked to see who the hell was blowing his shit up in the middle of the night. The first thing that I noticed was the name “Kamiah.” Her messages ranged from “I love you Danger” to “I really want us to work out” to “I’m pregnant.” The “I’m pregnant” text crushed my entire soul. It was a selfish way of thinking, but I wanted to be the only one to have Savion’s kids. I didn’t think anybody else deserved to.

On top of that, I fucked him. Multiple times. Raw. I literally felt sick to my stomach. I was even more disgusted at him because he was fucking and sucking on me all night knowing his dog ass had a bitch at home. He wasn’t the total blame for that because I never asked if he was dealing with anyone. No, I didn’t think he was just sitting around waiting on me after we broke up, but Savion wasn’t really the relationship type, so I knew that if this girl was pregnant, he was serious about her. I was even more hurt about that. I should’ve just minded my own damn business and I wouldn’t be sitting in this passenger seat with hurt ass feelings.

“You hungry?”

“No,” I replied with a roll of my eyes. He didn’t give one fuck about my attitude as he laughed. I instantly regretted my decision of telling him that I wasn’t hungry when he pulled into the drive thru of Wendy’s. Looking over at him, he was staring out the window with a stupid smirk on his stupid ass face. He knew what he was doing. He knew I was a sucker for Wendy’s nuggets.

“Welcome to Wendy’s. Would you like to try our Dave’s Triple?”

“Nah. Let me get a Baconator meal large with a strawberry lemonade. And let me get a ten-piece nugget meal large with a strawberry lemonade.”

“Will that be all?”

“Yeah.”

“Pull around to the first window.” We pulled up to the first window, she gave the total, and he paid. After they passed the drinks and food out the second window, we pulled off. I looked through the bags the see which one had the nuggets and reached inside, pulling a nugget and fry out.

“Why you eating my food, shawty? You ain’t hungry, remember?” I stopped chewing to see if he was for real and when he didn’t crack a smile, I threw the bag back into his lap and folded my arms across my chest.
